Introduction

Sometimes, you might want to add an item to a specific group in another board, and not the top group (which is the default when you're using the custom automations).
To overcome this default way of how monday works, we created a solution by using the same item multiple boards integration.

1. Click "Integrate"

Click on "integrate" - not "Automate".

2. Search for "Same Item Multiple Boards"

Search for "same item multiple boards" and Select the "same item multiple boards" integration. It might take a couple of seconds to show up.

3. Click "When an item is created , add the same item to board / group"

Select the relevant recipe. In this case, we'll choose "when item is created, add the same item to board / group"

4. Click "board"

Choose the target board.

5. Click "group"

click on group

6. Click "Group Title"

Select the group

7. Click "Create automation"

Finalize and save the automation settings
