The Discrepancy Report helps you keep your data consistent across multiple boards by showing where shared items are out of sync.
Here’s how to understand, access, and fix discrepancies 👇
🧩 What’s a Discrepancy?
A discrepancy occurs when the same item shows different values across boards.
For example, a task might be marked as “Done” on one board but “Stuck” on another because the column names didn’t match.
Once you fix the column names, syncing resumes normally — but note that past updates won’t be retroactively synced.

🪄 Steps to View and Fix Discrepancies
🔹 1️⃣ Open the Same Item Multiple Boards View
- Go to the board where your shared items exist.
- Click “Add View” → “Apps” → “Explore more apps”, then search for “Same Item Multiple Boards” and open it.!Same Item Multiple Boards view
🔹 2️⃣ Filter to See Only Discrepancies
- At the top of the SIMB view, open the dropdown that says “All items” and select “Discrepancies.”
This filters your view to only show items with sync issues.

🔹 3️⃣ Expand an Item to Review Changes
- Click the arrow (▶) next to an item’s name to expand it and view its history — including what changed, when, and who made the change.

🔹 4️⃣ Fix the Discrepancy
- Click “Sync Latest” next to the mismatch to apply the most recent value across all connected boards.

💡 Tip:
If you don’t see discrepancies you expected, check your column names — mismatched or differently typed columns won’t appear in the Discrepancy Report.
✅ Why It Matters
The Discrepancy Report helps your team ensure data accuracy and alignment across boards.
Checking it regularly keeps your workflows running smoothly and prevents sync conflicts before they spread.
